The memorial hall is suffering from old age and requires a lot of restoration and tlc to bring it back into a usable condition.
There has been a lot of vandalism over the last year causing damage to the rear store and the roof in a number of areas.

A considerable amount of work has been carried out on the hall over recent months to start bringing the hall up to date.
This includes the Kitchen replacement, new central heating boiler, ladies toilet refurbishment and
the redecoration of the inside and outside of the hall by the Payback team.
The Basketball court has been completely renewed with a new playing surface and equipment that has basketball hoops and goalposts.
Outside the hall there is a corrugated iron store
room that needs removing and the door replacing with an external door.
